The Oil Pump O-Ring is a rubber ring that seals the oil pump body to the converter housing to prevent oil from leaking between components.
HOW IT WORKS
The ring receives fluid pressure on the low-pressure side, which increases the force of the ring. The malleability of the ring allows it to fit into grooves and indentations to form a proper seal.
