We are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the Generator Maintenance Contract for the London Stadium by VINCI FACILITIES, following a competitive tender exercise.
Built to host London 2012, the former Olympic Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is home to Premier League football club West Ham United and UK Athletics. The venue also hosts rock concerts through the intervening months and other sporting events including Rugby Union and Major League Baseball games.
The 5-year contract, which commenced on 1st August 2021, includes the planned maintenance of the stadiums 4 emergency generator sets and 33 x UPS installations. In addition to the annual servicing and loadbank testing Turner Power Generation (a division of Mitchell Powersystems) will also provide a 24 hour emergency call out and support service.
This new contract award follows on the back of a series of recent awards and existing contract retention successes across the UK.
